    Foundation

    SK Industrial S.A. (SK SI) was established in 2006, as a stock corporation subsidiary of Ingeniería y Construcción Sigdo Koppers S.A. (ICSK) belonging to the area of services of Sigdo Koppers SA.

    SKSI creation responds to the application of a strategy of vertical integration of ICSK, in order to meet the needs of its customers in the implementation of Brownfield projects, management and implementation of the operation and maintenance of their assets. Thus, it offers its customers access in this area of needs for the exploitation of their assets, from a services provider with the high standards of a SK company: reliability, high technical and financial capacity, and above all, a supplier that fulfills its commitments.

    START OF OPERATIONS

    In 2006, SKSI began operations awarding its first contract supporting with CMPC Company at the stage of start up of the Santa Fe Line 2 Project.

    TALCAHUANO OFFICE

    Thanks to a large commercial and operational deployment, regional offices and managements are established in Talcahuano, starting SKSI's national coverage.

    CONCÓN OFFICES

    Offices and management are installed in Concón.

    OFFICES IN ANTOFAGASTA

    Offices and management are installed in Antofagasta.

    ACTIVITY

    The company has come to run more than 2 million man-hours in one year, with sales of 100 MUS.

    FUSION

    With the aim of achieving relevant technical and administrative synergies, increasing its competitiveness and providing comprehensive management service of productive assets, SKSI merged by absorption Sigdoscaf company (also controlled by the SK Group), which had management, implementation of operations and industrial maintenance contracts. Through this merger SCAF Ingeniería S.A. was also joined to the SKSI ownership, specialist in maintenance engineering, being a great contribution to this new stage for SKSI.

    Thus, from 2013 SK SI initiated a process of consolidation, maintaining its results, and complying with a commercial and administrative centralization in Santiago.

    CONSOLIDATION STAGE

    Throughout its years of operation, SKSI developed a control model of management services with KPIs which are focused to meet key commitments of its business: in Occupational Safety and Health, in quality, in the achievement of the committed deadlines, in the total cost minimization and the development of people. Today it has a staff of a high level of expertise in enterprise services, allowing it to offer its customers reliability and first class standard.
